This summer we had our vacation in the Outer Banks on the coast of North Carolina. We spent a week on the beach and then we headed up to Williamsburg, Virginia. We spent an afternoon at Colonial Williamsburg and the next day we spent the day at Bush Gardens, a theme park. We had such fun! Luckily the park was pretty empty so we got to go on all the rides and there were no lines at all. The kids loved it. The following day we drove up to Leesburg, Virginia where we spent the day and night with South African friends of ours. We had the most amazing vacation and created wonderful family memories.
